As the core component of LED lighting, LED driver determines the life of LED lights. At present, the competition is very fierce, and the price varies, the quality is also varies. SECOCO is a high-end LED driver manufacturers. Our customers have always been strict on quality. Today, I will reveal the production process of quality power supply. It is divided into 9 steps:

Circuit board making - Sample making - Electrical performance test - Component temperature test - High voltage test - Lightning strike test - EMC test - High and low temperature test - Aging test.

1,Circuit board making

We are strictly in accordance with the standard requirements of CE and SAA to produce. The electrical safety of the input part of the package, over-voltage protection, anti-interference, electromagnetic compatibility will be taken into consideration, and every point on the circuit will be carefully designed. This is indeed a time-consuming and troublesome work.

2,Sample making

According to the circuit design, all the electronic components are manually welded to the circuit board, and then to test whether the LED power supply can work properly.

3, Electrical performance test

After the sample of power supply is finished, it is necessary to test the waveform of each point, to check whether the parameters of each component meet the requirements of power supply, and make some modification if necessary.

4, Component temperature test

This workload is very big. We need to record the temperature of the various components such as capacitors, diodes, M0S pipe, IC, transformer, etc. Put the sample in a heat preservation box with temperature around 45 degrees, and replace the high temperature components if there are any, then record again. The entire process takes 1 day or so.

5, High voltage test

This is mainly for the power supply safety clearance, transformer insulation and other safety tests. If the test does not pass, it is necessary to modify the circuit or improve the transformer, until the requirements can be reached。

6, Lightning test

A basic requirement of lightning strike is that the indoor lighting is 1KV and the outdoor lighting is 2KV, which is similar to the thunder signal. The impact on the power supply is carried out back and forth to see whether the instantaneous power supply will be damaged. The input part is tested.

  7, EMC test

According to the international requirements of LED lighting power standards, electromagnetic compatibility and radiation test will be done to see whether it can meet the international standards.

8, High-low temperature test

Let the power supply in the high temperature of 50 degrees and low temperature of minus 30 degrees, to see whether the power supply can start normally, and detect the electronic components in the high temperature and low temperature of the power supply parameter changes, and change the unqualified components timely.

9, Aging test

This is the last step. Let a number of power supplies turn on and off within a short time, simulating our lighting lamps on and off, to see whether the power supply will interfere with each other or not at the same time and whether they work normally.

Small batch trial production can only be started if the power supply is qualified by the above 9 tools. Then we can start mass production by looking at what needs to be improved in the production process. SECOCO pays attention to every detail and makes guests feel at ease, which is the motivation of our efforts all the time.
